Cliterally The Best is not a client project. It is mine, and it is probably the work I am most proud of.
I built it during the height of the pandemic as a passion project with a clear purpose: to debunk myths around sex, bodies, and pleasure in a way that is colourful, accessible, and completely shame-free. Every graphic, illustration, and piece of visual content across the platform and social channels is hand-illustrated by me — from educational diagrams breaking down anatomy to playful social graphics tackling stigmatised topics. Nothing is stock, nothing is templated.
What started as a creative outlet grew into one of the UK's leading sex-positive education platforms, reaching over 300k followers across social media through organic content alone. That growth did not come easy. Platforms routinely censor sexual health content, and my TikTok account surpassed 200k followers before it was permanently banned simply for discussing contraception. Building a brand in this space means constantly navigating platform policies, finding creative ways to communicate medicalised topics without triggering restrictions, and doing it all while keeping the content genuinely engaging and fun.
The result is a body of work that demonstrates exactly what I bring to clients in the sexual health, femtech, and women's health space: the ability to take complex, clinical information and transform it into content people actually want to read, share, and come back to — illustrated entirely by hand in a style that is immediately recognisable.
The website is custom built in WordPress with a range of bespoke coded features, including interactive contraception quizzes, a sex and wellness calendar, and multiple community directories. Nothing off-the-shelf, all built to serve the audience.
