Four years in the making. A huge chunk of my work is web design, which meant my own psychosexual therapy practice kept getting pushed to the bottom of the pile. But with qualifying finally in sight, it needed to happen.
Naming the practice was the hardest part. In the end I kept it simple and used my surname, minus the "b" (Plumb means Lead in Latin, which is decidedly less cute). The Plum pantone basically chose itself.
The brand needed to feel warm, considered and a little different from the typical therapy aesthetic, without losing credibility. I built it around bold colour and a set of custom illustrative icons, and put together a microsite to collect waitlist sign-ups ahead of a full multi-page launch.
